For the 2025-2026 season, MDRA will host tryouts for U14A and U16A competitive teams.
MDRA commits to making and communicating a decision on team viability prior to the first tryout time. This will allow players and their families sufficient time to act accordingly.
Below you will find the following information
As per Eastern Region Ringette Association (ERRA) all players intending to tryout for any U14/U16 A or AA level for any association within the Eastern Region are asked to register as soon as possible. This will help the association with their tryout planning and communicate with those who are registered.
If a player's intentions change from the time of submission to the dates of the tryouts they should re-submit as soon as this is known, including a short note about the change in the "Comments" section.
📌NOTE: Since MDRA is not hosting AA teams for U14/U16, players have the ability to choose any order for their association priority for tryouts (i.e. #1 WORA, #2 Nepean). However, since MDRA is hosting A teams for U14/U16, players MUST choose MDRA as their first priority for tryouts, and then any association of their choice for their second priority (i.e. #1 MDRA, #2 CORA).
Below are the ERRA links for each division:
Registration for the 2025-2026 U14A and U16A tryouts are now open, you can register via RAMP. Please note, you MUST complete the ERRA Intent Form before officially registering with MDRA for tryouts.
The deadline to register for tryouts is Monday, April 28, 2025 at 7:00pm (24 hours before the first tryout).
Tryouts for U14A and U16A will each cost $100. Registration fees are non-refundable, so please review the other associations tryout schedule to ensure your athlete will be able to attend.
If a player requires a set of tryout jerseys, they will cost an additional $50. You will only need to purchase one if you don’t already have a set of MDRA set of tryout jerseys (these have numbers on the front and the back.)
You will be able to indicate the size of the jersey required when registering in RAMP.
To participate in MDRA competitive tryouts, prospective players must complete the Competitive Commitment Survey and the Competitive Player Contract before making any payments and provide them at check-in to be permitted on the ice. These essential documents establish clear expectations for players and families, ensuring readiness to fully commit to a competitive team.
Please refer to the MDRA Competitive Program Information and Expectations document for further details. The Competitive Commitment Survey and the Competitive Player Contract are located in Annex A and B of this document.
Please note that this tryout schedule is subject to change. Please check the website often for details.
