Player Intent to Tryout (Closed)

All athletes wishing to attend U14-U19 AA or A tryouts for the 2026-2027 season were required to complete the Ringette Ontario (RO) Player Intent to Tryout Form by March 16, 2026.

Status: The form is now closed

Important:

  • Only one submission per athlete was accepted.
  • If multiple forms were submitted, only the most recent submission is considered valid.
  • This form was mandatory — athletes who did not submit the Intent Form by the deadline are not eligible to attend AA or A tryouts. No exceptions will be made.

Ringette Ontario will use submitted intent forms to determine hosting approvals for AA/A teams for the 2026-2027 season.

MDRA Pre-Tryout Conditioning Sessions (Registration Open)

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our U14A, U16A and U19A pre-tryout conditioning sessions.

All sessions are offered at a flat rate of $25 per session. Registration capacity is limited to 20 skaters per session and 6 goalies per half-ice session (see dates, times, and locations below).

IMPORTANT: These sessions are currently available only to MDRA athletes. A registration password has been emailed to all members and must be entered for each session. Please do not share this password outside of MDRA. (Out-of-Association registration opens March 24 for U14/U16 and March 26 for U19A, subject to availability.)

Player instruction will be led by Allie Figley (Marcotte), a high-performance ringette athlete with years of elite experience, including representing Team Canada at the Ringette World Championships. Allie also led MDRA’s skills and powerskating sessions this season and brings exceptional expertise as a competitive evaluator. Her sessions will include skills, powerskating, ring control, and drills that athletes will see during tryouts.

Goalie instruction will be led by Olivia and Ari from the Dave Stathos Goalie Performance Centre, both of whom helped deliver MDRA’s goalie clinics this season. Their sessions are designed to build the technical and tactical skills evaluators look for during tryouts.

Registration can be completed through our RAMP portal under Camp and Clinic Registration.

Competitive Contract and Commitment Survey

MDRA requires all players participating in competitive tryouts to submit both of the following documents once they are released for the 2026-2027 season:

  • Competitive Commitment Survey
  • MDRA Competitive Player Contract

These documents outline expectations for players and families regarding attendance, behaviour, communication, and overall commitment to MDRA’s competitive program.

Updated 2026-2027 versions of both documents are currently being finalized. Links and instructions will be posted on this page once they are available.

Both documents must be completed and submitted before the player’s first tryout session.
